Hi there,

Well, I was asked to give a witness/testimony on my Confirmation night. I really want to do it, because I have a lot to say. But, I don’t know how to say it…or what to do. I am deffinately not nervous speaking in front of people, because I’ve read in Church before, and I read the announcements on TV at school. Can someone give me advice on giving a witness speech?

Who, What, When, Where, How and Why.

Outline from the above points of information, keep it simple, hit the major occurences that led you to faith.

Tell your true to life story of how you received God’s grace and blessing. Choose the one in which you had a peak experience.

I agree with one of the previous posts on this thread—telling how God worked in your life to bring you into the Catholic Church. Watching Journey Home on EWTN is always a good witness of Faith how the Lord works bringing non-Catholics into the Church.
