Giving thanks to the Saints

Are there ways for giving thanks to the saints for helping and praying for us. Can we give them gifts? I know that some people give Mary white roses.

People, especially certain cultures, give Mary roses and also give Mary and the saints milagros, jewelry, rosaries, and light candles to them for thanksgiving as well as for prayers. At some shrines you can buy candles actually in the shape of body parts like legs and hearts and burn them in thanksgiving or prayer request concerning the particular body part.

I will usually say a heartfelt thank-you prayer to Mary or a saint who has helped me. I will occasionally light a candle or place a flower before a Mary shrine. I am not from one of the cultures that gives the milagros, jewelry or rosaries so I don’t do that. If I wish to give a gift I am more likely to make a donation to the saint’s shrine or to a Catholic charity, as it seems a more practical way of giving thanks.
 
After every rosary I say as well as whenever I leave Adoration, I thank a bunch of saints that I call upon daily to help me out, my favorite saints basically haha. Quite a few are Popes
 
When I pray to certain saints I thank them at the time. Being saints I don’t think they want anything but to help, they already have their reward after all.
 
Had a Birthday party Sunday for Saint Joan of Arc. Only one other attendee. But we had cake and ice cream. And the Laurent Voulzy song, “Jeanne”, playing with lit candle. (in lieu of us singing.) (She is 607.)

That’s nice! I’ll have to have a saint party this year. St. Sebastian’s day is coming up and last year I ate Indian food because he is revered in Kerala.
