Dale quote: “Globalization is the means through which we achieve economic justice.”
I do not equate helping the poor in any/all societies with ‘economic justice’. From a religious view, it is charity… and when the ‘Robin Hoods’ of the countries ‘enforce’ it, charity is lost because of the mandate through taxation. Also, there are different classes of poor. (Having volunteered at a food shelf, I have seen people come in for their share of food driving 50K SUV’s and wearing leather coats… things I cannot afford, and I buy my own food). With this concept, every class has it’s poor, it just depends on how deep in debt one is with all the things they have and want. Also, my charity has been abused by a sister-in-law who was so financially strapped that I drove her to most places she had to go for some 3 years for free… after which she bought herself a nice 40k BMG (cash), and I was not good enough to even go for a ride in it.
So, who decides who needs help? And is it ‘justice’ to encourage ‘envy’ or ‘greed’ or economic ‘gluttony’? As if, if everyone had the same around the world all theft would cease. Envy would vanish. I think not. The human would still be human with all the good and bad that that entails. Equality is not equal as seen from the eye’s of numerous beholders.
Can any leader be totally un-bias? Can anyone seeking votes be totally fair? (Power corrupts) As far as I see it, only God can/is!
