I want to start a thread on any special thoughts that might come to your mind while meditating on a particular mystery of the rosary.

While meditating on the fifth Glorious mystery, the Coronation of Mary as queen of heaven and Earth, I had a thought.

I remembered something I read about Saint Maximilian Kolbe:

“I asked the Mother of God what was to become of me. Then she came to me holding two crowns, one white, the other red. She asked if I was willing to accept either of these crowns. The white one meant that I should persevere in purity, and the red that I should become a martyr. I said that I would accept them both”. -Saint Maximilian

I was thinking that we have crosses to bear, but if we are able to successfully bear our cross/crosses then they become crowns for us in heaven.

I had many thoughts and I thought it was out of the blue that St. Maximilian came to mind when I was meditating on that mystery.

I hope some of you may share your own special thoughts that may help us to better meditate on the mysteries.
