Let us all pray for the people who will be suffering from lost jobs due to the closings.
St. Eligius patron saint of metal workers pray for us. Amen
 
I am praying that they will be able to find new jobs quickly and that they will be able to support their families.

Lord, protect these brave men and women who find themselves suddenly without day to day financial security. Watch over them and help them in their relationships with friends and family, that the stress of their situation does not lash out and catch anyone in the cross-fire.

Saint Cajetan, pray for us.
 
I pray for these people, and for the community business owners that will suffer. The entire community suffers when large companies shut down.

There is a strong rumor that Toyota is going to come to our plant. I thank all for praying and the saints for interceding. You are all saints. If it is true it will be announced today or soon, but my husband says it is more than likely going to happen. GM owns a big share in Toyota so it is a step and the new employees will make less as it will be a new beginning but will provide jobs, the change over may take months but it will be a good thing for our state economy and city. We have to accept change and it may not be exactly to our liking but it is a start.👍
