I found this great book by a favorite theologian of mine, David Bentley Hart. Amazon is selling copies of it now for $10+, which is amazing. I bought it several months back for wayyyyyy more than that.
I posted a topic taken from his book The Story of Christianity. The latter looks like some coffee table book but is in fact a gorgeously illustrated history of the Christian faith by one of America’s leading theologians. David has written 50 short chapters, each focusing on a critical facet of Christianity. This one takes up the Gnostic heresy, which is still strongly within our culture – call it some New Age belief, take your pick.
