Hi Guys,

I would like to share a story with you about something that I’m only beginning to appreciate and understand.

Over a year ago I came back to the Catholic Church. This meant that I had to make certain changes in my life. I was using artificial birth control but it was one area that I was worried about having to give up.

The reason is that I suffer from a condition called Trigeminal Neuralgia, which causes extreme chronic facial pain and is extremely painful to live with without medication. In some cases, due to the pain it can be difficult to lead a normal life.

Unfortunately, the medication I was taking for pain relief was a medication which is known for causing neural defects in unborn children, so if I became pregnant while on the medication this could be very damaging for a baby.

It is over a year since I faced this worry and today I have managed to come off the medication and am not using any form of birth control. Not only that, but the pain has actually gone into remission and my health has improved enormously.

Due to God’s help and grace I have managed to get through this very difficult time and God has helped me through a situation that seemed almost impossible.

It is only now that I am realising that if you wish to make the effort and carry out God’s will that he will help you along the way, in many ways that you are not even aware of.

God Bless
