My personal beliefs are rather complicated, but revolve around math and science more then a god figure. Actually, i’d say math and science ARE my god figures. I’m not Athiest exactly, since believe math and science are worthy of worship.

I just wanted to see what some other opinions on the relationship between math and god were.
Throughout History of man, men have come to know God in many different ways. If you take a look at the baby Jesus story, the magi from the east were astronomers, in their star charts and many astronomers today will notice around the time of the birth of Christ, they too knew from their charts that a very special, holy, king would be born.

The bible says three magi, but three is for the trinity, we do not know how many magi showed, when they showed up, or if any at all, if you want to get to the heart of it.

The birth of Christ is for all cultures and religions, perhaps you find God in math and science, I would have to say that this is good, you are following your instincts.

Science proves that creation happened instantly, when you breakdown molecules and such you will find this, physics are quite interesting too, physics proves that what is on the inside is younger than what is on the outside, this is complicated for many, but in a nutshell the center of the earth is younger than the exterior under the laws of physics, the earth is young compared to what is on the most outer part of outerspace. But again physics proves that at some point in time we were created, maybe not man from dust, or woman from rib, but life was created instantly.

I hope that you continue your path, your journey, exploring for the truth and on the way I hope you recognize God, within the math and science.

You should read Truth and Tolerance by our new Pope, it would put religion at an interesting perspective for you.

Takecare
