Faure’s “Requiem” - especially the track “In Paradisium”.
I listened to “In Paradisium” At the risk of sounding repetitive, it was a beautiful piece. That there are people in this world that possess both the genius to create such things and the desire to inspire others to dwell on the Word/Mystery/Wonder of the Divine, is in itself a miracle.

Are you part of this chorus? It’s a beautiful piece (link worked fine). I’m often pleasntly surprised when music that is clearly christian puts me in a more receptive state of mind (as yours did).
I only wish! I do sing in the choir of my home parish when I can, but so does most of the congregation. It can be spiritually overwhelming when all of those around you join in and it sounds so beautiful.

Actually that is Psalm 103 sung in Slavonic (or Ukrainian maybe). So it’s not specific to Christianity. 👍

I love most all types.

Lately, I’ve been enjoying Delirious? (check out Solid Rock) and similar contemporary Christian rock.

I’m glad you liked it. I couldn’t find a link for you, so I’m happy that you found it somewhere.

To your point about genius point to God – I just read a good book called “A Meaningful World” which discusses this very thing.
Here’s a link to chapter 1.
