Hi everyone 🙂 Lately I have been feeling so suffocated with life. I am so busy that I sometimes feel distant from God. But the thing is I have no way getting around not being busy with school and work. Then I come home to a messy house and things just become stressful. I know people have it way worse than me but I feel like I need to start from within before I can reach out to others. Does anyone have any advice on how to keep an organized lifestyle as well as keeping Christ the center and focus?

First, I’ll be praying for you!
Second, find one day of the week (not Sunday) when you don’t have work or school and clean your house up. It will make you feel so much better, and clean-minded.
Third, say a couple prayers every morning when you first get up, and when you first go to bed. That way, your day starts and ends with Christ. 🙂 If you have trouble finding time to pray during the day, you offer what you do (how you act towards others, any pain you might be experiencing, etc…) up to God, and/or you can pray while your drive. By the end of the day, you’ll have shared in the suffering of Christ and spent the whole day praising him by your actions. Last, one thing that I have found brings me closer to Christ is saying an Act of Contrition every night. Think about how you failed that day, how it hurt Christ, and how you want to do better. In the morning, you’ll get up with a new kind of determination to serve Him! 🙂 Hope this helps! God bless!
