God and Satan Work Together

Lately I’ve been disturbed by the notion that God and Satan work together on this earth. As in written in the Bible, Satan can only do what is granted by God. Case in point - the book of Job. Satan asked to do certain things to Job and God agreed. God may have put one limitation on Satan, but God agreed to all the other evil manifestations of Satan against Job. They worked together on Job.

In addition, God created Satan. Satan is part of God. Why wouldn’t they work together? I would feel so much better if Satan was this rogue being, not created by God and was in a battle with God for control of the earth. But it seems to be the opposite. God and Satan work together in management of the earth. So the evils that come from Satan are sanctioned by God before they happen. The only thing that we have control of is our reaction to the evils.

I just feel like I sit here waiting for God and Satan to decide what next evil act is to befall me. And when it happens it’s both evil but blessed by God.
 
So when Satan was created he was all-good or semi-good depending on what he would do with his free will. When he chose, he immediatedly become devoid of all-good, or did he?
 
If God knew Satan would rebel why create him and cause all this havoc? With omniscience God could have only created those angels who with their free will would decide to remain loyal to God.
 
I can kind of see that cooperation in your avatar. 🤡

That’s what I say. God and Satan work together. Yin to Yang. Without evil there would be no good. God allowed Satan to rebel and become evil - to a point. Whatever Satan does on earth has God’s blessing or else he couldn’t do them. If Satan can’t do certain things it is because God does not allow it.
 
Perhaps the best explanation is that the notion of Satan is incoherent.
 
Job had a similar dilemma. When he confronted God, God did something quite amazing. He refused to explain himself to Job. Perhaps God owes us no answers. After all, he is God.
 
So if God and Satan work together (and I believe they do), God has a reason for that arrangement and we are not to know. I can accept that. But why pray to God when evil happens to you if it is sanctioned by God? Just to ask God to help you get through it? Because the sanctioned evil will certainly not stop since God gave Satan the OK.
 
First, indicting God for the sins of those with free will is not a rational position to hold. Secondly, you’ll have no choice but to accept God’s will. We may not always like it, but that’s how it works, soldier.

my daughter just walked by and it scared her… St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our safeguard against the wicked ness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray and do thou O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God cast into hell satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls

What if in the end complete justice is accomplished? Would you still blame God for wrong-doing?

Love requires freedom. What you are thinking God could do with His omniscience presumes He would see what would be created and then not create the ones who would reject His love. For human beings that would mean that only the people who choose God would enter life. Mankind would think that human nature is incapable of sin or at the very least have a false notion of what human nature is. . That would make God’s creative act a lie.
