God as unchanging - Christ changed

If God is immutable, unchanging, then when Christ ascended into Heaven did God change?
 
Is immutable, unchange-able the same as unchang-ing?

When Jesus ascended into heaven he was going home, it was Us now “in” Him that changed.

Though on the other hand God died on the cross, so the divine god-head suffered a separation - was that being changed, or because God allowed/willed it, was it “not” being changed?

No. The Divine Nature does not and cannot change. What is it about the Ascension that promts your question? What change seems to have occurred?

Not that I really want to start a side discussion, but if you are going to use the noumenal/phenomenal distinction (which I don’t find especially helpful to begin with), one would have to conclude that there is nothing phenomenal about God at all. There is nothing about God which is an object of the physical senses.

What I meant by the ‘phenomenal’ side of God is how we ‘see’ Him. One time, He might seem just and angry- another time He may seem loving and compassionate, as you would know. But God’s ‘essence’ doesn’t change, but the ‘phenomena’ (how He is perceived by us) does.
 
Jesus Christ *is *the same yesterday and today and forever. (Heb 13:8)

… god cannot change , but the big misunderstood thing is that change can only occur in time and with god he just " is " in " now " and he is not in time and cannot be and there is no time in our world either , we only have a concept of time because we can measure change , but change and time are an illusion of necessity as we cannot experience our whole existence or eternity / ies all at once – obviously …

… so god can change as much as he likes and there really is no chage because change can only occur in time , in " now " all is preset at once but we don’t experiece it like that , and that is the only differece and that is what makes what i say difficult to understand …

According to Catholicism, Jesus Christ is One Person, Two Natures. He is* both* True God and True Man.

Right. A changeable, passible human nature was created and united with the Second Person of the Trinity, but did not mix with or change His divine nature.

If you accept the fact that time and space share components, then omnipresent in 3 dimensions must mean omnipresent in 4.

Essentially, God is everywhere at all times. Thus, looking at Him on one day vs. another would be like looking at one part of you (say your left pinky knuckle), and then another part of you (say your right kneecap) and then asking if you had changed. You are you, and any part seen is only one part of the larger whole.

Only those creatures experiencing linear time (read: us) could be affected in a before-and-after sense.
