If you’re hearing complaints from newlyweds, it’s probably just because it takes some time to get used to one another.
Ideally, a wife would be neat and keep the house tidy AND never nag her husband. I understand that it is my job to keep the house clean and neat and to do the picking up, but I still forget myself and get annoyed when my husband doesn’t “help enough” or whatever. I can’t physically do it all, though, now that I’m late in pregnancy and raising a toddler, too. So, I’ve had to ask him to help out more. The struggle is to not nag or nitpick on how he does things. It’s a blessing for him to pitch in and help me to do my job at all!
