Are all Catholics required to wear brown scapular? I think we need to start introducing the brown scapular as little as 7-10 years this is ussulaly when children have reached the age of reason.

Im not saying to do it I thought it would be a nice idea.

Im a very very strict Christian and I do believe in a hell heaven and purgatory do you know how long purgatory can last for you if you have the sabbetine privlige be out by that Saturday but you have to keep your promises

Rosary daily
Some prayer of Mary?

Or those who can’t read for option two can fast from meat on Saturdays I think there is another day but please correct me if im wrong.

As a child of God I want everyone in heaven. I wish you to have such a deep initmate relationship with Christ. I know many of you are probably devout already. But there may be some who pass by herewho have no idea. Remember our Lady of Fatima
The rosary
Brown scapular
Divine Mercy chaplet
Fasting
Hours of the office of Virgin Mary

The Catholic Church is the only true Church you have random people preaching on the streets (have you accepted Jesus as your lord and savior are you saved) there are about 40,000 churches of these only one can be right. I love our separated brothers and sisters i don’t mean in any way to promote hate. Please pray for the souls in purgatory a great Chastisement prophecied from saints and mystics St Faustina, BL. Anne Emmerich

Please pray for sin to stop like our Lady said please don’t offend God anymore he is very much offended already most souls
Go to hell for ə listing the fleash God bless please share. Prayers for all

No one is required to wear the brown scapular. It is not a talisman or magic charm.

Since there is no body in purgatory, but only a soul, and since without a body there is no such thing as time as we understand it, your second question cannot be answered. It is similar to using the image of fire on the soul; a soul cannot burn.

I love our separated brothers and sisters
So do I .

It is the duty of all Catholics to be involved in the work of promoting Christian unity .

I thank God for the advances made in the ecumenical movement but we need to keep at it .

The progress in working towards Christian unity has made giant strides in my lifetime.

Catholics are not required to wear the Brown Scapular, and only those who are truly called to practice the devotion should wear it. It is not necessary to wear it in order to get out of Purgatory; it is also wrong to wear it for that purpose; and the Sabbatine Privilege is not supported and not promoted by the Carmelites who have charge of the Scapular. It’s also not considered a good idea to just enroll everybody in the Scapular as if you wear it, you’re supposed to be practicing Carmelite spirituality to some degree, and the Scapular is your “habit”.

I recommend you read the official Brown Scapular catechesis from the Carmelite order, as you seem to have many misconceptions about it.

As for “loving our separated brothers and sisters”, I was married to one for 23 years so obviously I loved him and was also close to some of his relatives.

I also think if you’re trying to promote devotions on this forum, you’re kind of preaching to the choir. Everyone here who’s Catholic is pretty devout and have their chosen devotions they practice regularly.
