God choses who believes in him?

About satan, well, his deeds and work is pretty much infront of your eyes, but its fine, satans biggest trick was to make the world believe he does not exist.
Aslo, as long as you stay out of the truth, satan is happy with that and so he wont bother you much, the trouble comes when you try to change as the OP. He will experience it, if he is t right now. The evidence for satan is so overhelming.

A rich person will tell the same thing, “I am happy”. You cant be happy without God in your heart, in your life.

Regarding Christianity, there is no such thing as compatability, I mean, to state something like that you surely know nothing about Christianity. Well, you are already a pagan, that tells a lot. I would ofeten refrain from comments like these, but I see you heart is made of stone, you are stubborn and with your eyes closed to evidence and divine revelations. Words will not convert you, I will pray for you.

No religion is but it shouldn’t make you deeply miserable either. I’m not talking passing moods I’m talking general emotional background radiation.

I think you will, because your desire for God means 90% of the battle is already won. Most of the battle is just getting to the mindset to realize that you want to choose God. If you were really never going to accept Him, you wouldn’t know it because you wouldn’t even have the desire there TO accept Him. Now all you have to do is ask Him to help you and show you the way to Him. If your heart was really that hard and unreachable you would not even have the desire for Christ and would not even **care **that you find it hard to accept Him. The fact that you asked that question means you do care. The fact that you are trying means you do care. It won’t be an overnight transformation and may take some time, but you will get there.

You have been blessed with a chance to know God. Some people sometimes don’t even notice God has given them a number of opportunities.

In my working life and as part of personal training, I stopped worrying about things I have no control over. You have control what you do today and tomorrow. Yesterday was history so quit worrying about yesterday. You do not know about tomorrow, so don’t waste energies on worrying whether you are able/unable to accept him. Meanwhile what do you do? You seek him. If you look for him hard enough, he will let you find him. Actually he is always there. You just didn’t take off your sun shades. So what can you do?

The easy part is to read. Read the Bible, read early christianity, read the lives of the saints. The even easier part is to pray. If your prayer is sincere, you can not not feel his presence. Prayers to Mary and the saints for assistance and guidance and moral support.

Next join church support group. There are many in the same shoes as you. Atheist, people from other religions are seeking God like you. Reinforce each other.

You will definitely get distractions along your journey to get close to God. Ignore them and stay focus. How do you know they are distractions? Once you read enough, you will know the nature of Christ. If the distractions are not of Christ, you can smell it a mile away. For confirmation, just check with the folks here. Many here have unbelievable sensors that smell Satan in whatever disguise he is in.

What do you mean? If you think that all you have to do is say yes at once, then step in to the paradise, you really do not know what you are talking about…
God doesn’t use measuring units to judge us. If one is forgiven that doesn’t mean that everybody with kind of the same sins will be forgiven too…
Didn’t you meet beggars? Did you behave the same way towards all of them? Didn’t you show more mercy towards some of them? Can one complain you gave more to another?
