** The Muslims have not understood the promise of Mohammed is bogus. The penny has not dropped for them yet; the connection has not been made in their minds.
The Saracens were kicked out of Europe. The Moors were kicked out of the Iberian Penninsula. The Turks attacked Malta at the beginning of their war of conquest to make Europe a Mohamaddan continent. Ninety warships full of Turkish warriors were defeated by the army of 1,500 fighting monks of the order of St. John, with the help of some of their Maltese natives.
And then the Turks were going to attack again. The Turkish leader, Suleiman the Magnificent, had misgivings, in spite of the vast military superiority of his forces. He said “I fear more the prayers of Pope Pius V than all the warships of Venice.” And he had good reason to fear the prayers of Pope Pius V because Pope Pius V proclaimed a Crusade. It is for Mohammedans the dirtiest word in human language: Crusade.**They still did not learn their lesson, and they besieged Vienna with a vast force. They so incredibly outnumbered the Christian forces that there was no possibility, humanly speaking, of defeating them. The Mohammadens were routed and fled. The Turks were defeated again.
Somehow the 5,000 angels promised by Mohammed never showed up on their side. On whose side did they show up to defend? Pope St. Leo, when he pointed to heaven and that army of angels became visible. The Moors were driven out.
The angels do come down from heaven, but to give victory to the Christians, not to the Mohammedans. The day will come as foretold by Our Lady Herself, that even the Arabs will convert to the Catholic faith.
