God is being: is this panentheism?

If God IS being, as Thomism suggests, is that panentheism?

It seems that way, but further understanding of the esse and essence distinction shows that it is not. There is one existence, but there is evidently “essential dualism”.
 
My understanding of pantheism is that it sees the totality of all beings as comprising God.

A pantheist might refer to the Universe in its totality as if he were referring to God.
(The most clever presentation of this belief may have been presented in Asimov’s short story titled “The Last Question.”)

But God is in essence non-material and distinct from the universe.
Other things have being. But God IS Being.

No, G-d is a necessary being, we are created beings. G-ds essence is existence, our essence is potential. This makes us fundamentally distinct beings.
