God is love, right?

Not necessarily. Calvinists proclaim themselves to be good Christians and I know some who seem to be very good Christians. They go to church and read their Bibles and even quote verses out of it at me. But Calvinists for the most part seem to believe in a God that they say creates people and simultaneously predestines those people to an eternity in hell. So Calvinists, like their God, do not want everyone to be saved.

Calvinistic predestination always seemed to me to be first and foremost concerned with good ol’ numero uno. Me and my predestined salvation and forget the rest of you heathens. Just my impression perhaps.

Interestingly, this very subject came up after our service today.

I do believe in universal salvation, meaning God loves everyone equally. This goes for everyone, even the Christians.

For many in the discussion, the idea of damnation was moot, because most of us don’t believe in hell.

I know many Christians may disagree with that, and that is their right.

Ever notice that those who believe in pre-destination also believe that they are amongst the pre-destined to go to Heaven?

I did say that Satan tries his hardest to get as many souls as possible.

So as not to seem to be as judgeing, let me assume that a cavlinist gets into heaven, Then comes his own personal time before Jesus. Now, the calvinist’s sins are forgiven, forgotten, buried forever in the Sea of Forgetfullness. However, now is the time of judgement of his life, his intentions as why the deeds done were done.perhaps now is the time that Jesus shows that person all the time wasted in not trying to save a soul and shows him the ones that would have been helped if only he did not adhere to calvinism.

i say he had a fair chace of that part of his life being burned up as straw, stubble, wood.
