God is our protector and provider, but also allows suffering, at what point would God be “contradicted”, if that makes sense. I do see the value of suffering, but that isn’t my point.

If God is our protector and provider, then why allow us to suffer or get diseases or loose limbs in war; plain suffer, etc. We are all going to eventually die, but that doesn’t mean God doesn’t protect us or provide for us. Just trying to understand at what point does God not become our provider or protector if he also allows such things to happen?

Not sure if that makes sense… Thank you for helping me to think through this!

I don’t think you will find a contradiction , I never read there will be no suffering , or I will allow no suffering

I think a better question is why do we as Christians allow or cause so much suffering

God made us with a free will, to choose to do bad or good , well with that free will many have chose to do bad, and the consequences include suffering

hope this helps
