Father, shepherd, friend, counsellor, servant, leader, King, prophet, priest, teacher, judge, lover, lamb, warrior, … and so on.
I tend to focus on the Father role in prayer. But to deepen my faith I need to embrace God in all his roles. Would you agree? I find this kind of challenging. Perhaps more literate Bible readers can appreciate all the different images of God we are presented.
Yet some of us seem to manage fine by just focussing on the Father role of how God is portayed.
