I would like to share a true story that happened to my Grandpa when he was in his early 20s. I was obviously not born then so I’ve heard this story from my Grandpa himself, my father, and my auntie.
This was around the 40s or 50s or whatnot and in the country of Iraq (which is where I’m from). Medicine is poor during this time and especially in Iraq. Anyway, my Grandpa had some kind of disease (hemophilia? Or whatever its called…not really sure if that’s what he had but he had something that had the doctors think that he wasn’t going to make it) and the doctor told him that there is nothing they can do. The blood would not stop and the doctors were doubtful that my grandpa was going to make it. Most people who find out that they’re going to die are usually depressed. So my grandpa is laying in his bed depressed, obviously thinking about death. Mary, the Mother of God appears to him and says to him in Aramaic “Koo Choomindee Leboough” which means "get up, there is nothing wrong with you. If you’re wondering, we speak Chaldean and Assyrian which is the sister language of Aramaic and a lot of words are similar to each other. From that moment, he was miraculously healed by God through Mary. He went to the doctors to see if it was really true and the doctor told him that he was healed and the doctors themselves couldn’t explain it. It was another one of those miraculous healing that doctors can’t explain.
