I have lost my girlfriend, we have broken up and I want her back and she is not wanting to at this time. I miss her so bad. Please god I pray to you to help me find a companion I’m so lonely and depressed. God it seems like I always push away the people I love most please god help me. I miss my Jen so bad. God if it is your will please let her miss me and want me back as well. God I promise I will not disappoint Jen or most of all you. Please god let her reconsider her feelings and want to be with me again…
This can be one of life’s most brutal lessons. Loving somebody and being rejected. When a relationship turns serious we all run the risk.
If this is God’s plan He will heal your heart so you can take the path meant for you. Pray for strength and stay busy, try not to sit around thinking about it.
Where we get in trouble in this world is when we try to work OUR plan, and NOT His. He has a plan for us, but we sometimes stray because our free will gets in the way. Don’t ask me how I know that.
I can’t tell you Jen will come back or not, and even if she does, might not be the same. Did she say why? Did you do something? Or did she just want to go in another direction?
I was in a 2 relationships before I met my current wife of 32 years. On one I was on the rejection end, and the other it was I who recognized this was not who I was suppose to be with. I loved her very much, but in the end I had to let her go, because it was never going to work. There was no question I loved her, but it was not enough. It is easy to walk away when you no longer love someone, but to have to let someone go you do love is painful in the most awful of ways.
Without making that move, I would have never found the soulmate I have as my life partner.
I learned and grew from each of my failed relationships.
You don’t know it now, but she did you a favor. If she doesn’t love you, the way you lover her, you need to know that, so you can move on to someone that
does love you. She is of no use to you if you hold her against her will by emotional means.
In my personal experience (long ago but still revelant) and that of the many young man who came to me with relaitionship problems in my job, your biggest ally is time. How much time? Rule of thumb on a breakup was however long your’e with someone, take that, and half it, what ya gonna need to get over it. So if you were together 2 years, somewhere around 1 you will be better.
You can get past this if *you *
choose to.
