Well, if you want to get technical about it, the bible states all one has to do in order to be saved is simply believe God is who he has claimed to be…I cant name the exact verse, but I can find it if needed.
The Christian God already does that because of omniscience. He, He Know, He will now each of our fates before we were even conceived, and the Catholic Church says that He knows so infallibly.I understand what you are saying. My question concerns if God did not come to save us, would it be moral or trespass on God’s perfect and just nature to just leave us all to hell, because then God would be creating souls with no other fate than suffering and eternity in hell.
I understand that Jesus came to redeem us, and that anyone going to hell does so in their own free will. I am asking whether it is moral or not in this hypothetical universe, whether it is moral to condemn us regardless of what we choose of our free will.
That is “repent, and believe in the Gospel.”Well, if you want to get technical about it, the bible states all one has to do in order to be saved is simply believe God is who he has claimed to be…I cant name the exact verse, but I can find it if needed.
If you read my previous posts, I’m not referring to how the world actually is. I understand that because of Jesus and God’s grace, anyone who goes to hell goes of their own free will. The Christian God already does that because of omniscience. Since I have a different belief system, I would not be the one to answer those questions in a way you would accept. If you read my previous posts, I’m not referring to how the world actually is. I understand that because of Jesus and God’s grace, anyone who goes to hell goes of their own free will.
I am just trying to have a higher understanding of what is moral and just, so I am putting it to the context of God’s moral perfection and justice. So, I am asking a hypothetical question of a different world where God does not give humanity any chance of redemption or salvation.
So in this new world, is it just for God to just condemn all of humanity to hell because He didn’t give anyone grace that merits redemption or salvation. After all, without grace from God we merit nothing.
This is my question. This concerns a hypothetical situation/world, not how it actually is.
