God willed His Son to Suffer and die

Jesus prays " Father if it is possible let this cup pass from me but BUT YOUR WILL BE DONE.

what is the will of God concerning his SOn?

isaiah tells us in chapter 53 verse 10 “The LORD says, it was my will he should suffer , his death was a sacrifice to bring forgiveness”

This is the reason why the Son became flesh, because Flesh can suffer… it is necessary that what has come into flesh is divine to give infinite value to the sacrifice…which is due to infinite God. otherwise a finite sacrifice is short of the Glory of God.

Jesus confirm the prophecy of isaiah , jesus said speaking about his death " take this is my body/blood which is given/poured out for the forgiveness of sin"

So did God willed his Son to die? the answer is YES it was fortold before Jesus was born by isaiah
