I was invited to the baptism of a family member’s friend’s child, which is to take place tomorrow.
However, I realised that the people selected to be the godparents
“ecce ancilla domini fiat mihi secundum Verbum Tuum.”

- are not practicing catholics and 2) one godparent is not confirmed. My parish seems to have overlooked this. Is the baptism illicit? Is it a sin for me not to object to the baptism? Am I morally obligated to report the godparents to my parish priest?
