GOD's CURE for same gender troubles/sins in the flesh-True conversion from Romans in the Bible

God promises when we are Saved by Grace…EPH 2:8-9, that we receive a new spirit man(woman),heart, and mind- that desires not to sin against Him, and is more easily led by the Shepherd Jesus Christ in the Holy Spirit.
God is the source of all-as He even says in the Old Testament that He made good and evil, and He made the first sickness, with Moses’s lepered hand. Since we can read this in His Holy Word, surely it is fine to speak this as truth. Without fear, even in His HOLY presence.
Therefore, find in Romans 1, the very problems you seem to be discussing in this forum. God says because of lust,sin, and all He says here, in preaching by GOD’s Holy Ghost Spirit in and from Paul’s mouth-(to God be the glory and praises). That He will turn you over to these sins if you do not turn to him now, that He will turn men and women over to strange flesh—themselves(each other, women and women, men and men)…and so on. But, if people will hear and understand the Holy Spirit, if they will turn, before He does this, if they will repent and seek His forgiveness, they will receive free, his forgiveness, His Salvation in that one thing…in Romans 6, in Rom. 6 , they were fine and they had the new spirit, and they were converted into the fold and covenant of Christ. Their body was back Godward(not each other-ward) wanting to serve GOD. Paul may have been a long winded preacher(GOD)!
So if you are experiencing these kinds of problems today, it may have been since you were a child, if you were in a home or somewhere when this started for you, or members of your family, sin and it’s curses, and sicknesses seems to grow and go into other generations if it is** NOT STOPPED by Christ.** Anyway to know this was sent by GOD, but must be redeemed by Christ and Father God to go away for good. Maybe you waited to late to repent,if you were prompted by God, or someone in teaching and you were headed that way, did not heed the warning and now you have this sin going on…well repent today, ask Christ to redeem you and you can have some Romans 6 redemption…READ, BELIEVE HIM IN HIS WORD and AND PRAY…ahhhh the Savior, Jesus Christ. Get delivered today! Watch and pray, He is coming soon. AMEN.
 
God’s cure for same gender attraction is to live in chastity. One need not switch to opposite gender attraction to get into heaven.

That is the truth. In fact the Catholic Church has IMO all the answers.

Why limit God so much? God can take away SSA altogether so people can live like everyone else.

He sure could, but he may find it more fitting for your to live in chastity and take those desires you have and your suffering from abstaining from them and unite them with Christs sufferings. We may not be completley happy here on earth, we have to be holy, and the best way for someone with SSA to live is a chaste life and to take part in the sacraments.

Maybe with some but not with all. There is growing evidence that ssa is caused by prenatal hormonal factors. If this is the case then we encourage them in chastity not hit them over the head to change what they feel inside.

If God changes them, they need not change themselves. They can’t change themselves anyhow.No more than anyone else can stop their issues themselves.
 
Live chaste. True. That is for all unmarried believers. But please read Romans , Chapter 1- Chapter6. And see that God turned people over to this, Himself if you did not turn from lust right then, you were left in this sin, which grew, then by Romans 6 redeemption had been offered by Jesus in Paul and the body and these feelings and all were changed. Then the people in this trouble were serving God. They’re all Godward IN THE BODY/flesh. There are people in this trouble, and they are married, some are children, very young, some have already went over to this…now seperated from God. Some have had backslid and sinning parents in these sins, they were there in these homes when all this took place by the hand of GOD. Now we need Salvation, here comes Jesus with the light of the Word. ROMANS. READ, pray, read, pray and God will tell you Himself. Get rid of it all completely forever!!! Do you want to be rid of this problem, sin, disgrace, will you hear God? Amen.
 
Look, I experience same gender attraction but do not act on it. God has chosen not to remove it. I am not going to hell for having the attraction. I am serving God. Thank you very much.😛

AMEN, GoofyJim. It’s not much different than my heterosexual lust that I choose, with help of God’s grace, not to act upon. I continue to strive to drive that lust from my will; however, only Christ can ultimately redeem me.

I love some of the points made in here. Yes, God will and does and will change those who believe in Him, but He doesn’t say that temptation will go away.

We have people an AA, we have homosexuals living chaste lives, we have all sorts of people in the Catholic church, who are good Catholics suffering from yet resisting many serious sins. We are a church of sinners thirsting for and being sustained by the grace of God.
 
Pray with me that God will redeem us according to His Words of His Living Testimony and Will in Romans 6. Also the Bible speaks of… waiting for the body to be redeemed to wit… with knowledge that it has been redeemed. Any two in faith He says He is in the midst/ present.
Dear Jesus Christ our Savior:
You see here on this forum that people are indeed having confessed trouble in their body, yet they are trying not to act upon these feelings. Please Dear Jesus and Father, our Friend, see that everyone gets this redeemption. It is much needed here and around the world. Praise your Holy Name and thank you for answering. When you set us free, we are free indeed. Thank you Father for all you do. We hope to see you soon in Heaven with Jesus. Amen.

You seem to ramble a lot in this post. From what I can make of it, your theology is questionable- at best. I imagine the rambling also damages your credibility. I don’t mean to sound uncharitable, but I have to call things as I see them- for the sake of those who may not be very knowledgeable of the Faith.

Everyone has their cross to bear. In prayer, we unite our crosses- our sufferings- to the Cross of Christ, and are saved. We are told to work out our salvation with fear and trembling- not just have faith and everything will bounce off of us. We are told to pick up our cross and follow Jesus- not throw everything on him and live care-free. We are told that unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, then it will remain only a single grain- but if it dies, it produces much fruit.

The holiest men and women I know of are those that also had a lot of suffering in their lives. It is easy to accept God’s will when it’s comfortable. When that’s all you do, it is narcissistic, and it is like saying “yeah! I’m sure glad you see things my way, God.” When you look at it this way, it sounds a lot lilke blasphemy too.

There is no cure, for it is not a disease, it is a mindset and a lifestyle. No one needs to act on their most basic of urges, and as such there is no more redemption needed.

I agree that one need not act on urges but same gender attraction is by no means a mindset. It is something that one experiences from a very young age. To call it a mindset is to imply that they could change through will power, which is not true. Yet if all they have is the attraction there is nothing to be redeemed from anymore than an opposite sex attraction.

I’m pretty sure we have EXACTLY THE SAME BIBLE (save some old testament chapters). BTW - what is “basic” anyways?
