God's instructions and the Law of Moses

Please, keep me informed. I heard that there are other God’s instructions from the Holy Bible ( not Mosaic laws) that have not been carried forward to our modern christian societies. Could anyone help me what are these God’s instructions and why they are not carried foward to our modern times? Thank you in advance.

Well, I’ve had a few argue about keeping the sabbath. In one of the Ten Commandments it says that we are to keep the sabbath, and make it holy. Or something to that effect. They say that if we have ours on Sunday’s insteaad of Saturday we’re breaking one of the commandments and bringing judgment down on ourselves.

Others believe that it should be on Sunday because that was the day of the week Jesus rose from the day. And in the book of Acts, it mentions at least once of the believers getting together on the first day of the week.

So, if any one wants to elaborate here, welcome to it.

How about the Noahide Laws, given to Noah after the flood. They were originally imposed on Gentile Christian Converts in Acts 15, by St. James at the Council of Jerusalem, but they have sinced been lifted (according to St. Paul in his letter to the Galatians).
