Hello to all,

I was asked to reflect on this, and would like some insights or suggested readings:

In today’s world, full of poverty, hunger, war, crimes, sex, pornography…how does one find God’s love in the world?

What are manifestations of God’s love despite all these?

And what is the Church’s role in all these?

Thanks.

“Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.” Philippians 4:8

These things still exist in the world. There has always been darkness in the world, but there has also always been light. The True, the Good, and the Beautiful are still out there in the world–look for these things. Look for love and the actions produced from it, and there will be the face of God.

Our job as the Church? To be the hands and feet of Christ, and to reflect our love of God to others.

I just go look in the tabernacle. God’s Love has been waiting there, as St. Josemaria says, for 2000 years.
