God's Most Blessed Americans are....JEWS & HINDUS!

When people ask for blessings, its usually in the form of wealth & knowledge. Afterall its those two that Solomon’s been famous for. Now lets see who’s got the most wealth and the most knowledge among Americans.

Umm, no, I’d say most people ask for health before anything else. If you’re healthy you can then work to get the wealth and knowledge, if you’re unhealthy you can’t do squat.

I doubt Jews and Hindus are healthier than anyone else … maybe Buddhists, assuming they’re vegetarian, or SDA who are vegetarian AND (if I remember rightly) don’t believe in coffee, tea or alcohol either.
 
I couldn’t open the page; perhaps, the site was slow when I was trying to visit. But what are exactly wealth & knowledge? Does this pole only look at the worldly wealth and knowledge?

Maybe among of the other 90% of Catholic who do not have a blessing of this worldy health but instead of the unworldly health - The Food from Heaven. Similarly, among the other 81% of Catholic, they have the Heavely wisdom.

This survey is invalid on whom God blesses more. 😉
 
Post-grad education is not the same thing as knowledge. I know things few post-grads do. For one, they don’t teach every kind of knowledge in college. For another, most people forget most of what they learn in college anyway. For another, many people teach themselves things every day. I know people with two years of college to my four who can fill in a lot of my gaps in knowledge.
Income isn’t wealth. Some people never make a penny but live in luxury because of inherited wealth. Others make a bundle and spend it on things that don’t last before the pay period runs out, living in debt and ending up with few possessions.
And to cap it off, a man’s life doesn’t consist in the number of his possessions.🙂

I see a very strong drive in Middle Eastern (including Indian) families to educate their children as quickly and as well as possible.

The pressure on the kids I have witnessed is based on a lot of things that aren’t really understood by others, such as family loyalty, obedience and personal choices reflecting on an entire family.

I also believe their school system and method of teaching math is different from the generic American public school. They acquire information in a way similar to our American homeschoolers.
 
I’m Catholic and I feel BLESSED. That study must be right, I’m just too dumb to know I should feel bad about not being rich.😃

India isn’t in the Middle East at all, but yes, there is a tendency amongst South Asian (Indian more than Pakistani, Bangladeshi or Sri Lankan) for the children to become highly educated.
 
It is lamentable that more Catholics don’t take advantage of higher education. But it must be admitted that much of higher education has a clearly secular bent. Perhaps it isn’t so lamentable after all.

It doesn’t surprise me that many of the wealthiest of best educated people from South Asia would also be the wealthiest and best educated when they move to America. The Jews have always valued education and wealth.

Plent of unhealthy people have done wonderful things. Lots of unhealthy people have advanced degrees and lots of money, too.

Again, I’m not disagreeing with you to pick a fight. It’s just that the iidea that health is everything, and that without good health, you’re a useless, pathetic, and sorry sot, is just not true.

Thank you. This is exactly what I was going to point out. As far as material wealth, Hindus probably do so well because their CULTURE encourages hard work. Whereas, American culture promotes laziness.

Well, a good Catholic would know how blessed they are simply because we are included in God’s family.🙂

For me it is my Faith, that God called me back from the dark path I was once taking and gave me the chance to repent. I was very unhappy than although I was not wealthy than or now at least not in the American sense of wealth. But I feel like I am very wealthy in my Faith, my wonderful Husband, my almost perfect children (those here and in heaven) and the wonderful extended family and friends God has surrounded me with. I am very Blessed.👍

Why most I make my Blessing more appealing to you? These are my blessings and I do not have to justify them to you or any other human. Faith is huge and if you are lacking in yours why most you questions others?:rolleyes:
