I have been thinking about this lately. Assuming I am correct in understanding that sin and evil constitute an absence of God, does this affect His omnipresence?

No. God is present throughout his creation, the good and the bad. There is no absence of of God anywhere. We can deny God, however, his presence is still with us.

Even with those in hell God is still present because there is nothing that is unknown to him or beyond his goodness or power. That’s what Omnipresence is–God’s ability to exercise his Godliness over his creation.

👍 Those who are in hell are using God’s power to reject Him!

God can be said to be present in five ways:

He is present as creator and sustainer of what he created. In this sense he is even in hell.

He is present as guardian. “The Lord is your guardian; the Lord is your shade at your right hand.” Psalm 121

He is present as Savior in the Mystical Body of Christ. “I am with your always.” Matthew 28;20

He is present as agent/partner when by the dwelling of the Holy Spirit by which we are able to move towards him and do good worthy of reward.

He is present physically in the Eucharist.

GOD is present in everything, visible and invisible, including atoms…He is sitting within all our hearts as the Supersoul, to our spirit souls…He knows all your thoughts, all your desires, everything you will to be, and all our sins…everything about your life is recorded within your particle of spirit soul, which is a piece of GOD’s Supersoul…

It is interesting to note that near death experiences will always say, your life plays out and passes before your eyes…all recorded events from babyhood to the present…and even some say, they are asked by loving beings, what they feel they were able to contribute to all humanity, regarding GOD’s love, throughout this life…
