Is it true that God has a plan for each one of us?

Yes. There’s a book in Heaven that has written in it God’s plan, purpose and destiny for each individual:

Thy eyes beheld my unformed substance; in thy book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. (Ps 139:16)

Even Jesus has a book in Heaven:

Consequently, when Christ came into the world, he said, “Sacrifices and offerings thou hast not desired, but a body hast thou prepared for me…Then I said, ‘Lo, I have come to do thy will, O God,’ as it is written of me in the roll of the book.” (Heb 10:5-7)

I don’t know if it’s a bad thing or not to think this way, but to me, I don’t feel that God has a specific plan for each single one of us. I do believe in callings though. So, I’m not sure what to think about this.

Ok, so is God’s purpose for each individual the same as God’s plan? I feel our purpose for everyone is the same - to get to Heaven, which is different than a specific life plan, right?

Remember that in a world where human will is semi-free, individual life-plans are impossible.
