God's Preparations

Hello. I have a prayer request. During mass on Sunday as well as during the morning worship service at the Wesleyan church I attend with my fiancée, I began to sense that God is preparing me for something. I don’t yet know what it is. Perhaps He’s preparing me to be the husband I’ll need to be. Perhaps He’s preparing me to serve Him in the Church in some capacity. Perhaps He’s preparing me for both.

At any rate, please keep me in your prayers.
 
Praying to the Holy Spirit to give you guidance, direction, strength, fortitude & wisdom in whatever God’s calling for you.

Hi, as you have a fiancee, it could be that God is wanting to prepare you for marriage and parenthood.The challenges and difficulties that both those can entail may be profoundly greater than most couples contemplating marriage can anticipate or imagine, and marriage is for a very long time.
We need far more preparation than our education or society usually supplies.

Holy God please enlighten and guide obvious_ron and his fiancee in their paths ahead.

Prayer for One’s Vocation

Lord, my God and my loving Father, You have made

Thanks for this. I sometimes forget that what God wants is the ultimate goal. What I want or don’t want or even what my fiancée wants is secondary.
