When the US condoned and allowed slavery, we paid for it with the Civil War.
The nations went to war for four years, at the cost of millions of lives, partly because of the holocaust. The abortion scourge is infinitely worse than slavery and the holocaust put together. No offense to anyone connected to those events. They were horrible enough. I am sadly convinced that we will pay, and pay dearly, for the horrors of abortion. I believe that anyything like the " great tribulation" should such a thing occur, is simply the result of the sin of abortion, and some other sins, but mainly abortion. If people thought that the catastrophes of the 19th and 20th centuries were bad, well we ain’t seen nothing yet. I don’t wish for this to happen, but we seem to be leaving God no choice. That is not surprising. After all He is not pro - choice. You want justice? its coming. And we won’t like it when it does.

What sort of justice do you envisage? I think when abortion is made illegal there’ll be war trials for the main culprits such as the abortionists and the main supporters in government. However, the individual women will not be put in jail. I don’t know when this will happen but pray it will happen soon. It could take a couple of hundred years. There’s always been abuse and in the past they used to chuck babies in the rubbish.

The life inside the mother needs to be treated like any other person and be given the rights every life has.

Doing anything to that fetus should carry the same consequences of doing something to a fully grown human being.

God is merciful. We must pray that he has mercy on us all. Not just the abortionists.

I don’t understand how you can have a “war trial” when there was no actual war and when the acts that were committed were legal. Are you implying that if abortion ever becomes illegal in the US (which will not stop abortions from occuring in the US or any other country for that matter) that people would go back, find the people/doctors/nurses that aided with the abortions and retroactively punish them for something that was lawful and even funded by the government? That makes no sense - they’ve done nothing ILLEGAL - against many Catholics moral standards yes, they have done wrong but I don’t think that will have anything to do with a “war trial”- please explain what you mean by war trial.

I would not be surprised.

Wasn’t there talk recently of the Obama administration wanting to go back and put Bush administration officials in prison for ‘legal’ actions taken at the time?
