Going to confession after 20 years

I have just returned to the Catholic Church after nearly 20 years. I know that I need to go to confession but it has been so long and I have a lot to confess including mortal sins but I’m not sure what to do. I’m a bit embarassed to go to my parish priest with my questions. Can anyone help?
