Going to confession tonight for first time since converting 6 years ago

please pray for me that I make it there and don’t chicken out.
 
I just saw this, prayers for you, did you make it?(Can we pray de facto?)
 
I pray you make (made?) it. If you didn’ t, no worries. Just got tomorrow. Most preiests are more than happy to make time to hear confession even on a minute’s notice.
 
My prayers are with you! What a difference you will feel once you have made confession!

I did make it to mass, and father heard my confession afterwards.

He just had me do a very general confession since it had been 6 years.
 
The Angels must be rejoicing in Heaven…Praise God that you made it to confession…Praying for you. May God’s love surround you always.

Now don’t you feel better?😃 Keep it up and when you remember things, and as you remember them, confess them if they nag at you, you can let any future Priests know about the general confession and then you could add at the end of your next confession (after you have confessed your sins)…something along the lines of “I am sorry for these and all my sins but most especially for…------------(fill in the blank)”. God love you!!!
