Going to hell for leaving the Catholic church

if the Church failed in teaching waht God wants taught, that would mean Jesus failed to protect His Church from the devil… who, as you know… loves to cause division… and loves falsehood…

This is why the Church holds the position She does.

Matt. 16: 19 RE: Peter and Furture Popes “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matt. 18:18 Jesus grants similar powers THROUGH PETER to he rest of the Apostles and successors" Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

Eph. 2:19 So then you are no longer strangers and sojourners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, [SINGULAR] built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure is joined together and grows into a holy temple in the Lord; SINGULAR] in whom you also are built into it for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.”

And Christ Himself assures the TRUTH of the CC Teachings on Faith and Morals!

John 14: 16-17 And I will pray the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, to be with you for ever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him; you know him, for he dwells with you, and will be in you.

Not accepting all Teachings puts one soul at GREAT peril.

Good because the Church shouldn’t presume to know God’s judgement before He renders one.

While someone might argue what is Scripturely mortal sin and what the CC calls mortal sin under the guise of being able to bind and loose, add and subtract whatever it pleases, I do not argue repentance.

scripture is clear. The warnings are clear. The consequences are clear. The CC is clear. There is no “guise” of being able to bind and loose.

The poster just must have been too distracted and posted the verses to say “will not inherit heaven” and nor this person nor that person nor nor nor “will inherit the kingdom of God”. He even did those all up in bright red for emphasis for all to see the judgement.

I originally posted those passages because they named

• the sin
• the consequences of those sins if one dies with them on their soul
• AND I highlighted them WITH specific chapter and verse from scripture because this forum is on the world wide web, and there are sooooo many people who read this forum without participating.
• And because sooooo many don’t know scripture and think the Catholic Church pulls this stuff out of a hat…When they actually see it printed from scripture, the rubber then meets the road. They can’t just dismiss those sins as misdemeanors.

When people see it in print from scripture that specific sins can land them in hell if they die with them on their soul, hopefully it has the intended impact on them .

• These same people often argue sin is not distinguished between mortal and non mortal sin IN scripture. WRONG!!!
• They think all this hell stuff doesn’t apply to THEM because what they’re doing can’t be all that bad. WRONG!!!
• They think mortal sin is invented by the CC, and consequences associated with Mortal sin (particularly the sexual varieties mentioned) that are rampant in our society today, is ALSO invented by the CC too. WRONG !!!

Obviously these folks are some of the MOST shocked when they find the truth… Hopefully they are thankful for finding out the truth before it is too late.

No I have complete faith the devil will not prevail in the end. Orthodox? No I never claim to be that. But Catholic and informed? Yes.
