I am not going to discuss unapproved apparitions , but I will just say that I have been to Medjugorje three times and found it to be a refreshingly Catholic place .

I think this may apply if I mentioned Emmitsburg or Bayside? But catholics are not prohibited at this time for making a pilgrimage to Medjugorije.

The apapriations which are happening at Medjugorje are unapproved, and we are not allowed to discuss unapproved apparitions here.

Pope Francis just sent a vatican offical over there recently to help oversee the pastoral care of pilgrims.

I went late 80s and early 90s . Then some confessionals had been made , but most of the Confesssions took place in the open air and just kneeling next to a priest .

No it was before the Bosnian war , and the “things” we are not allowed to mention began in 1981 .

do you know people who have gone? I know an ex abortionist who has gone more than once and is now a fervent Catholic. I know a few others whose lives have been touched by Our Lady and Her Son there.
