Going to my First Mass Possibly this Week

I contacted A local Catholic Church Upon Transportation to Church & they Replied & asked Me to contact them with More Info so they can pass it along to their Church Services .
I hope they can Pick me up & drop me off on the Week days In the mornings I’m excited .

Friend are you in for a TREAT! I remember my first mass, I didn’t know what to expect as I basically just walked right in. I have never met more welcoming people in my life. I shook nearly everyone’s hand and got a round of applause at the end. I felt so special even though I had no clue what was going on. God bless all those who attend mass routinely and for their very first time!

Hurray! You’ll love it. Pay close attention to the words of the Priest, and to the responses, and don’t feel out of place if you don’t know the responses. There may be a missal available, but if not, don’t worry. Just try your best to follow along, and have fun.
 
Don’t be shy! Make sure your ride knows this is your first Mass; hopefully they’ll sit by you and prompt you when to sit, stand, or kneel. And lucky for you, most churches have laminated cards in the pews since we’re all still learning the new responses.

You don’t need to dress up too much. Something you’d wear to dinner with grandma should be okay.

I was going to ask Could I wear My Black Slacks & A Dress Top I’m not A Dress up kind of Person …LOL .

I Just Bought A New Roman Missal w/ The New Mass I should Receive my Missal Tomorrow Or Monday .

I think I may start attending Mass 3 Days A Week & Bible Study On Fridays .
 
Hope they find someone too to guide you through the service those first few weeks. May be you could ask them for that help because it will make a difference for you because it will mean you will make contact with one person and hopefully they will introduce you to their friends etc… If they don’t mention it, please ask them if they can find someone who you can be with through the service to guide you through.
