congratulations! i’m so incredibly happy to hear that you’ve made the decision to join the beautiful Catholic faith. i’ve actually only been Catholic again for about a week, as i’ve spent the past year as a nondenominational evangelical Christian after being raised Catholic, and it’s been an amazing experience for me so far, especially within this absolutely incredible community. i’m so glad that you’ve made this commitment - i wish you luck at the RCIA meeting on monday, and please know that i will keep you in my constant thoughts and deepest prayers. remember that incredible things can happen even if you have the faith of a mustard seed, but i will also pray that your faith continues to grow and mature. i know how overwhelming it can be at first, as the Catholic Church is extremely complex - i’m somewhat overwhelmed as well - but i will definitely pray for your encouragement and that you quickly learn and grow in your faith, and become all that God wants, needs and calls you to be. i’m so glad beyond words that you’ve made this amazing decision, and that you feel welcome at your new church and within this great community. i will definitely be thinking of you and praying for you, that it goes well and that it is the beginning of an amazing faith journey for you that brings you close to God. please don’t be afraid to ask questions, and please remember that we are all here to support and encourage you, and pray for you. God bless you, Hoosier, and know that you are far from alone in this. we are all behind you, supporting you completely. please take care, and know that my prayers are with you. if you ever need anything at all, or would just like to talk about anything at all, please don’t hesitate to contact me, as i am always here and will always care.
love,
in the peace and love of Christ,
alison xx
