Please pray for my family. I’m the only Catholic and have been praying and holding on to the hope that things will get better for us. They haven’t. Things just seem to keep tumbling out of control to the point that I now feel like giving up. We have so much financial stress and are behind on bills. I just don’t know what to do at this point except to ask for prayers from others. My prayers don’t seem to have any effect. Thank you!
 
Lord, please touch BLP and this family, that this cross not be a burden beyond carrying. Send a Simon to help carry these crosses as you had Simon help you carry your cross on the way to Calvary. Send angels to help with this cause. Lead this family by grace into faith, hope, love, and joy always. Draw them ever toward the heavenly garden through all matters of suffering or joy in life. Have mercy, Lord, and grant them a drop, a foretaste, of heaven’s joy, that there might be some sign of relief in this world of the joy in the next. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.

Thank you all for your prayers. Debt is not the problem. Trying to protect and help our daughter out of a bad situation has nearly bankrupt us and I’m out of a job. We’re just trying to make ends meet and right now they don’t. Gotta have a little extra income to get back on track.

Loving God, please come to the help of this dear soul who has financial problems threatening their well being. Direct their paths to get the help needed I pray in the name of Your dear Son our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Prayer to St. Joseph for the Unemployed

O Saint Joseph, we pray to you for those who are out of work, for those who want to earn their living or support their families.

You who are the patron of workers; grant that unemployment may vanish from our ranks; that all those who are ready to work may put their strength and abilities in serving their fellowmen and earn a just salary.

You are the patron of families; do not let those who have children to support and raise lack the necessary means. Have pity on our brothers and sisters held down in unemployment and poverty because of sickness or social disorders. Help our political leaders and captains of industry find new and just solutions. May each and every one have the joy of contributing, according to his abilities, to the common prosperity by an honorable livelihood. Grant that we may all share together in the abundant goods God has given us and that we may help underprivileged countries. Amen.

For Help in Trials

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular BLP, and family, and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.

You made us all that we are and you are the source of all that we possess.
I come before you trusting in your goodness and great love for us.
In response to your call, “Come to me all of you who are weary and I will give you rest,”

I come with expectant faith believing that you are a God
who answers all prayers in a way that is best for each one of us,
especially what is good for our soul and in accordance with your will.

BLP now has deep financial problems, Lord, and I has no one to run to except you.
Forgive BLP for all his/her past failures and actions that may have
led him/her to this crisis and help him/her learn from them.

Inspire BLP and family with ways and means to help ease the financial burdens.
Guide BLP in the proper management of finances.
Deliver BLP from the tendency to want too many things,
especially those that are unnecessary.
Deliver them from envy when they see blessings of people around them.

Send to them generous hearts that can help alleviate their financial troubles
and help them to be trustworthy, responsible and dependable in all
their dealings with them.

Thank you for always being there to bring them love and hope in times of despair
and frustration, courage in times of fear and doubt, and peace in times of anxiety.

With confidence in your love and mercy, give BLP the patience to humbly wait
for your answers to his/her prayer for financial healing.
