I was reading about the Holy wounds devotion and ran into a small paragraph about the “Golden Mass” or “Votive Mass of the Holy Wounds”, beleaved to have been indulgenced by Innocent VI(1362) or John XXII (1334).

Does anyone has more information on this? Did anything of this mass survived untill today, or any chanse in reading the actual rite of the mass?

All information would be welcomed,
Thanks in advance!

It’s a pity my 1962 altar missal hasn’t arrived yet or I’d gladly look into the appendices to try to find it. I’d really have no idea if this Mass still exists after the 1970 revisions. Devotion to the Holy Wounds seems to be at something of a low ebb nowadays.

Well, when it arrives, if you would scan the changes for me, I’d be eternaly greatfull!

There is no such Mass in the current Roman Missal. Even in the former edition–still used in EF venues–the Mass is usually in the appendix (MPAL–Missae pro aliquibis locis, Masses for specific places).
