Good advice for engaged couples

I found this line from the Abstract interesting.

Cohabitation accounted for little variance in divorce rates after controlling for the cultural factors of ethnicity and religion and the personal attribute of delinquency.

Even though this is a topic I really don’t care much about, reading on the variables of a study and how they are controlled and the affects of that control are very interesting to me.
 
I agree with you. I’m sure there are probably some better more up-to-date pieces out there. I just grabbed the first one that popped up.

Truly, it has been a good conversation. I hope others in the thread see that it’s not too terribly difficult to find solid support for claims and should be prepared to support their claims if called out on the carpet.
