Good beginning NT Greek study?

How exactly would I begin to learn to read/translate NT greek? Would I buy a book, or have you found computer-run tools to be better?

In essence, how does one (short of a class) best learn New Testament Greek?

Which books/programs have you found best?

Jimmy Akin, the Catholic Answers Director of Apologetics, recommends this book. You should also check out his site, which has a section on Greek linked on the left hand side of the page.

This should get you started!
