You might have missed by previous post: are you 3rd Order Franciscan?

As far as authors, I know Marmion is safe and presently, my Oblate Director, Fr. Donald Raila. Not looking for anything super dense but with a bit of spiritual depth to it.

They are now called Secular Franciscans (or OFS). I am. Was able to re-activate with the re-existence (right word?) of my fraternity and the de-activation (release?) of oblates.

It is (well, was) a tad messy, but it is now officially fixed. 🙂

I think you would like the Commentary on the Rule. Pricey, though ($50+)

Commentary by Simon? I do have that one and it is worth EVERY PENNY 😃 Truly, it is an excellent book and helps me greatly.
