Good Bye Everyone

I just wanted to say Good Bye to you all. My stay here has truly been wonderful and enjoyable. Allot of you have touched my heart and taught me things.

How long will I be gone? I do not know, but I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for your answers, patience and time. The reason I am publicly saying this is 1) cause I wanted to let you know you all touched me and 2) so it gives me the “motivation” to hold true to staying away for a while. (like losing a few pounds…if you tell someone and openly admit your trying to lose…it motivates you not to "backslide” pun on words)

I found my time here valuable but a little to addicting for my liking. My volunteering has diminished, time at the church, with my family, etc…not saying anything is wrong with it, just me personally, I do find this very consuming.

I would name some of you personally to thank and again express that you indeed did touch my heart, but there are too many of you… you know who you are. And thank you.

So, until we meet again, adios and God Bless.
 
Thanks for such a nice thread! I’m sorry to see you go. Your posts were always thoughtful and respectful. I appreciate that you showed a genuine interest in our responses. So many non-Catholics come here to ask questions for confrontation, not out of true interest in understanding what we believe. I feel like we really dialogued well here. I can see that you are truly “in Christ”. If you have an opportunity to clear up misunderstandings about what the Church teaches, I hope you’ll remember all of us and make a point of correcting things that we are falsely accused of. Thanks, Malachi! I’ll miss you!!!

yet know this, these forums are like the mafia. You can leave, but they will pull you back in.

I left for a couple weeks and I have come back, but just not spending so much time here as before since I do have a family that I need to dedicate time to and I need to keep involved at my parish.
