This is the one I purchased. Cantores en Ecclesia. It has most of the traditional Mass chants.
It is not original Gregorian chant, it is not male only, but has male and female voices.

Anything by the monks of Solesmes or Fontgombault should be good. Also, you can hear lots of chant on Choral Treasure (www.choraltreasure.org)).

The monks at the Annuciation Monastery of Clear Creek in Hulbert OK send out a CD of Gregorian Chant by the Monastic Choir of the Abbey of Notre Dame de Fontgombault. Hey they are building a new monastery, they keep sending me the CD when they ask for money. So I send them more money cause I like the CD and it drives my wife nuts when she gets into the Explorer to go to work early in the morning and loud gregorian chants greet her.

I would also recommend Gregorian Chant by The Choir of the Carmelite Priory. Its the original 1961 recording now on cd.

Also Gregorian Chant by the Choralschola Der Wiener Hofburgkapelle directed by P. Hubert Dopf, S.J. The choir is completely made up of former members of the Vienna Boys Choir.

I’ve just purchased a copy of JAV Recording’s Louis Vierne Messe Solennelle,Opus 16
It’s a recreation of an Easter Sunday Traditional Latin Mass at Saint-Sulpice in Paris as it would have been between 1900-1937.

It includes Vierne’s composition for the Ordinary but it also includes Gregorian chant in the style that resulted from the Solemnes reform which started in 1889.

I found it interesting that they explain the inclusion of the Tantum Ergo this way: “The Tantum Ergo is a motet comprising the last two verses of the hymn Pange Lingua heard at Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, not necessarily at the Mass. This was purposely done to illustrate how the rivalries and politics between the musicians and the clergy in the large fashionable parishes could result in liberties taken with the liturgy.” Really? Liberties with the liturgy didn’t start in 1964???
