My parents are moving down there and I’ll be there for Christmas; any suggestions?

It’s not “near” Indian Rocks, but I suggest going to the Cathedral of St. Jude for Christmas. It is however a straight shot about 15-20 minutes.
 
The closest church to Indian Rocks Beach would be St. Jerome’s just over on the mainland from the island. The only way you can get to St. Jude in 15 minutes would be at midnight with a police escort ?

Granted I have not lived there in 25 years and not visited inat least 10. But it was about 15 to 20 minutes from IR north of Maderia beach across the bridge down past the VA and straight down Tyrone Blv. to St. Judes.
