Hello, Seeing as you guys/gals are more educated upon the subject concerning both the split between Catholics and Orthodox and also the history of Eastern Catholicism, what Books/DVDs would you recommend I buy?

Your probably gonna ask me, which one? Coptic, Greek Catholic/armenian etc etc, but to be honest just throw what ever you can at me, ( and just incase some of you took that in the literal sense, all I can say is ‘‘boy am I glad I’m behind a computer’’ phew )😃

God bless and take care

Check out ecpubs.com, you’ll find a good deal of stuff on the history of Eastern Catholicism. One book that’s received a ton of great reviews is “Finding a Hidden Church” by Fr. Christopher Zugger. I would also recommend pretty much anything written by Fr. Cyril Korolevsky. His four-volume “History of the Melkite Greek Catholic Patriarchate” is very good, as is his “Christian Antioch,” “Metropolitan Andrew,” and one of my favorites “Uniatism.” There is also a biography of Blessed Theodore Romzha, Bishop of Uzhorod in the Trans-Carpathian mountains. All of these titles are available at the website mentioned above. Have a look. I think they would at least give you a good start.
