Good fiction?

I just finished “The Empty Shrine” by William E. Barrett. I can’t wait to read his other books (if I can find them!)

Also Marcus Grodi’s “How Firm a Foundation”. Excellent book!
 
Here are a few of my favorite books. Wonderful stories whose vivid worlds turn more and more real as you turn each page.

Carter Beats The Devil by Glen David Gold
The Brief History Of The Dead by Kevin Brockmeier
The Amazing Adventures Of Kavalier And Clay by Michael Chabon
The Fortress Of Solitude by Jonathan Lethem
Mailman by J. Robert Lennon
The Name Of The Rose by Umberto Eco

These are all simply straight up literature. The only one w/ any sort of Catholic theme is Name of the Rose, but all of them are well worth reading and will enrich your world to no end. Writing simply doesn’t get any better than this. If you read but one of these books, my heart will well … as will yours. 😉
