The last time I fasted, I think it was Ash Wednesday. I hadn’t eaten anything all day and I wanted to stay up to bite into some delicious leftover food I had.

Of course I totally fell asleep.

Let’s see how I do today.

Personally for me i chose to go until sunday.

Yes of course I know.

And I did fall asleep, but am happily eating a yogurt now.

We chose to Fast and Abstain until after the Vigil Mass, which ended at 2:00am on Sunday. We then headed to breakfast with friends.

I am exhausted but very satisfied with this years Lenten season/Easter. Our latin choir sang 5 Solemn High Masses then assisted on Good Friday. Last night they sang another Solemn High Mass (Vigil) and then again this morning. They are exhausted as are our priests.

It was magnificent. We all are spent, but it was for Christ.
